Ylang Ylang Complete pure essential oil is produced by a certified organic distiller in Madagascar and represents full (complete) distillation of exotic Cananga oderata flowers. Ylang Ylang Complete has not been separated by grades of I, II, or III. One difference between Ylang Ylang and other essential oils is the distillation time resulting in varying degrees, or fractions, categorized as III, II, I, Complete, and Extra. Distillation of six or more hours results in 3rd and considered the most economical. Shorter distillation times between 1-5 hours provide higher qualities.
In Europe, therapists use Ylang Ylang essential oil for sexual dysfunction. Used in an oil diffuser, a few drops in the bath or blended as a massage oil or cream, Ylang Ylang essential oil lifts depression as it is euphoric and uplifting, it soothes fears and anxieties and works as a hormone balancer.
