Best known for its marvelous skin healing benefits, St. John's Wort hydrosol is also praised by Suzanne Catty for its excellence with helping with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and also asthenia.  St. John's Wort hydrosol is also reported to be mildly euphoric and may benefit situations requiring emotional support and calming.

In addition as a hydrosol for depression and emotional support, the distiller in France tells us this hydrosol is awesome to soothe insect bites, irritated or chapped skin, burns, and is particularly useful with skin ulcers and pressure sores (decubitus ulcers) seen with bedridden individuals.  This makes St. John's Wort hydrosol especially attractive for use with seniors and those in assisted living environments.
