Saffron Absolute Hexane Free

to find a true saffron extract to begin with was not an easy task , and then to find a trusted source was even more complicated. Thats why i was very happy once a learned about Lotus Garden Botonicals, and the quality with paper work to back it up. the smell was exactly what i was looking for and so satisfying, such a precious material should be kept a secret.. it truly has a suede leather facet that unmistakable, such a joy to work with and definetly a prize material.

I think I snagged some of the last of this current stock. Whoa this is diffusive! To me it smells like the bitter note in honey but it's pleasant and really smooth. I get a raspberry and frankincense nuance too. Due to the IFRA naturally occuring Safrole/Isosafrole/Dihydrosafrole restriction of 0.01%, I only used 0.04% in my 20% Eau de Parfum. That's all you need to add the perfect Oriental depth and complexity. It reminds me of Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather. Thank you for stocking this precious and rare ingredient!

This Saffron is the finest I have ever smelled. It is also organic and the real deal. Beware of other less expensive Safrons that are clearly synthetic, A rare find, and indicates that Lotus Garden goes out of their way to find authentic and genuine essential oils and absolutes.

This Saffron essential oil is one of my favortites. Crisp, piquant edge and yet soft and earthy. It brightens my mind without any sharpness.

This oil is aromatic and received it in no time. Love it.

one amazing oil

My first purchase from Lotus Garden. I normally buy saffron abs from Liberty Natural, but I found that their most recent lot had a really troubling off note -- like synthetic sandalwood -- especially prominent in the drydown, so it was time to seek out a new supplier for this rare essence. This saffron abs from Lotus Garden is beautiful, with the classic heady saffron abs profile of new leather, honey, muskiness in the drydown -- just pure joy. Grateful to have found you!

While traveling through Israel, I had the opportunity to smell and purchase amazing saffron threads. When my LG order arrived, their saffron essential oil was the first bottle I opened. And wow! It smells exactly like the saffron I purchased overseas!! Just smelling the oil is grounding. I followed the recommendations of some essential oil to combine it with and I made a beautiful cream. Love, love this oil!

Works remarkably well as a single perfume after my morning meditation. It is uplifting and brings joy. It lasts for about an hour on my skin. Its tenacity could be extended with a light perfumer’s hand adding just the right base accord. This Saffron absolute-no-hexane is an example of an artisan product which captures the living intelligence of the plant itself. Its sharp (spicy) & convincing diffusion immediately finds my nose as I open the vial. Its top note piques my attention with a round & aquatic presence. Smoothly it develops a sweeter heart which then deepens into more of a powdery base. This extract helps me experience "Plant as Teacher”

Saffron essential oil imparts a beautiful and elegant scent. It has a buttery, creamy , and leathery essence to it when you first test it on a fragrance strip. It is very rich but not overpowering at all. After dry down, the oil imparts a slightly spicy essence that is more gourmand but doesn't necessarily remind you of food per se. It is definitely a sexy heart note that if paired with black spruce, it will work well as a men's fragrance.

Lovely complex nose. Goes well with all sorts of delightful things. Very persistent.
