Our Poppy Seed Oil from Papaver somniferum is first organically grown in Turkey, and then organically cold-pressed in Hungary to yield a virgin, pure Poppy seed oil. The aroma is mostly bland with a faint nuttiness that becomes undetectable on the dry down. Poppy Seed oil is remarkably rich in linoleic acid (71%) which gives it a highly moisturizing feel that fully absorbs, which is ideal for all skin types even oily and sensitive.  Mature and dry skin types will appreciate Poppy Seed Oil’s ability to reduce trans-epidermal water loss, which locks in moisture and prevents it from evaporating.
