splendid nectar
Hardly recognizable as a resin at first it is so sweet, its depths suggest underground reservoirs sheltering palliative waters for millenia, ebulliently then sun-baked forging the union enabling the tree's skyward reach, yielding an oflactory oasis in its crucible of desert heat at once reposedly surrendered wicking clean as a whistle and accreted of shimmering sustenance surfeit to present the complexity of a densely rich spiced date. Its extraordinary mellow depth IMO make this Ethiopian the myrrh selection best to directly compliment the most formidable of earthen contributors like tobacco, wild Thai Oud, Bourbon vanilla, and Jasmine sambac—as well as saffron, and (I suspect) tonka bean.
