Our Lime essential oil is steam distilled and safe for skin use without phototoxicity. Its antibacterial nature plus fresh clean aroma is a good addition in natural household cleaning, particularly kitchen counters, cutting boards, and bathroom.
Lime essential oil has antispasmodic properties beneficial for coughs and colds caused by congestion of the throat and chest. A few drops in an oil diffuser or diffuser provides a happy, fresh, perky exhilarating aroma and blends well with Orange Sweet and Ylang Ylang for an exotic tropical blend. Lime is also an excellent choice in clarifying blends for oily skin and acne.
