Cold pressed Persian Lime essential oil has a soft tart sweet aroma. In natural perfume it adds an interesting crisp sweet citrus aroma without overpowering and pairs well with all citrus oils. Cold pressed Persian Lime is an excellent antibacterial and antimicrobial for cleaning kitchen counters, cutting boards, and bathroom tile.
Lime essential oil has antispasmodic properties beneficial for coughs and colds caused by congestion of the throat and chest. A few drops in an oil diffuser provides a happy, fresh, perky exhilarating aroma and blends well with Orange Sweet and Ylang Ylang for an exotic tropical blend. Lime excels in clarifying blends for oily skin and acne but for this purpose we recommend our
steam distilled Lime. Skin use of cold pressed Persian Lime should be highly diluted and not used prior to exposure to sun. See contraindications below.
