Lime essential oil in aromatherapy has antispasmodic properties making it good for coughs and colds caused by congestion of the throat and chest. Use Lime essential oil in a warmer, a few drops in the bath or blend as a massage oil or cream.
Lime essential oil is also a good sedative for nerves, tension or anxiety, aids relaxation and is a lovely air freshener on its own. Lime essential oil is used in aromatherapy to help with respiratory problems, catarrh and sinusitis, and is also good for the skin, muscles and joints.
