Leleshwa (pronounced la-lesh-wa), also called Camphor Bush and African Wild Sage, is a remarkable aromatherapy and skin care oil produced in Kenya from steam distilled wildcrafted leaves and flowers. Many prefer Leleshwa over Tea Tree for its clean camphoraceous aroma and purifying benefits. Although it is also known as Camphor Bush this essential oil contains just 3% camphene making it ideal for use in the diffuser to purify air of stale and musty odors. GCMS analysis of our Leleshwa essential oil suggests a fantastic antimicrobial oil with 20.46% alpha Pinene, 1,8-Cineole 17.86%, endo-Fenchol 20.10%, and 4-5% ranges for alpha Terpineol and Terpinen 4-ol.
