Insurance and Claims

Claims:  Should a package incur damage during transit, the recipient must contact the courier to initiate a claim.  All courier procedures (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL) can vary slightly, but you should take photos of the shipping box and its contents and individual photos of any damaged or broken contents.  Do not throw anything away because the courier has the right to request an inspection of the shipment.  We (Lotus Garden Botanicals) do not initiate any insurance claim on behalf of the recipient. We accept no liability for a denied claim or for any damage(s) that occur once we place a shipment into the hands of UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL.
