Hydrosols

Hydrosols can be added to the water phase of lotions, creams, facial toners, skin care and aromatherapy products. Hydrosols, opposed to pure essential oil, can be used as is to spritz on face, neck, or body.  

We have hydrosols available in a variety of bottle sizes and types.  We strive to use glass bottles although in winter when temperatures drop below freezing we change to PET bottles in order to guard against breakage.  Breakage happens during shipping when the hydrosol freezes, expands, and then breaks the glass.  There are still ongoing supply chain issues for amber glass bottles and at times PET bottles.  Therefore we reserve the right to ship hydrosols in PET should we be out of stock of glass and vice versa.

Our hydrosols are kept properly stored and refrigerated to maintain freshness.  Most have a shelf life up to 24 months or longer.

Hydrosol aromas can vary from distillation to distillation and from one supplier to another.  We suggest requesting a small sample size when placing an order so that you can familiarize yourself with an aroma before purchasing a larger size.  Please see our Free Sample Policy for full details.  As contained in our Terms and Conditions hydrosols are a hygienic product and can not be returned.
