Hydrosols
Choose from our artisan-crafted organic hydrosols, also known as hydrolats or distillates. These aromatic waters, produced through steam or hydro-distillation, are lighter and gentler than essential oils, containing therapeutic water-soluble compounds. Hydrosols can be added to lotions, creams, facial toners, skincare products, or used directly as a refreshing mist on the face, neck, or body.
We offer various bottle sizes, primarily in glass. However, during winter, we use PET bottles to prevent breakage caused by freezing. In ourSuppliesyou can shop for glass bottles with caps and also with atomizers.
Our hydrosols are handled properly and refrigerated for freshness, and they have a shelf life of up to 24 months or more.
Hydrosol aromas can vary from distillation to distillation and from one supplier to another. We suggest requesting a small sample size when placing an order so that you can familiarize yourself with an aroma before purchasing a larger size. Please see our Free Sample Policy for full details. As contained in our Terms and Conditions hydrosols are a hygienic product and can not be returned.
Note: When hydrosols are cooled below room temperature, their fragrance may diminish because the volatile aromatic compounds become less active in cold conditions. As a result, hydrosols might not smell as strong or intense as they do at room temperature, since temperature affects the evaporation and scent release of these fragrant components.
