Douglas Fir essential oil from Canada has a fresh sweet piney lemon aroma. Botanically, Douglas Fir is classified in the genus Pseudotsunga and is not actually a real fir because those are assigned to the genus Abies.
Douglas Fir blends well with
Plai essential oil for an aroma-therapeutic anti-inflammatory massage oil that also is said to benefit sore muscles. Aromatherapy use of this highly antibacterial and antimicrobial oil also includes a few drops in the diffuser or oil warmer for situations of cold and flu. We enjoy its fresh 'in the forest' aroma released when diffused that is refreshing and cleanses stale air.
