Cypress hydrosol is produced from branches of Cupressus sempervirens and is a cleansing, detoxifying, and very diuretic hydrosol for eliminating water retention in tissues and joints. Cypress is a hydrosol for the venous system and is said to improve circulation. For varicose veins use Cypress hydrosol in a compress.
With its natural green coniferous aroma and astringent properties Cypress hydrosol is excellent for men as an after shave facial toner. Considered a styptic it can help stop bleeding from any minor cuts from shaving.
