Our Cornflower hydrosol is artisan distilled in Canada from small batches of dried Centaurea cyanus flowers also known as Bachelor's Button.

Cornflowers are delicate and bloom from early spring to end of summer.  They are dried and used for culinary garnishing and are a necessary addition in Lady Grey tea. Because the flowers are dried they can be distilled any time of the year.

Use Cornflower hydrosol for anti-aging, anti-wrinkles, plumping skin cells, toning and tightening skin and refining pores.   This hydrosol is astringent, styptic and cicatrizant, wonderful for healing scars and wounds.  Price and Price regard Cornflower hydrosol as antiseptic, antiviral and sedative for inducing deep relaxation.
Cornflower hydrosol is an excellent compress for reducing the appearance of puffy eyes!  Suzanne Catty indicates in her writings that Cornflower Hydrosol is useful as a compress for fatigued, tired, and itchy eyes.  She also reports that phytohormones in Cornflower Hydrosol may be helpful to women experiencing hot flashes but is a hydrosol to be avoided during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Soft & Relaxing
The aroma is so soft and relaxing, you feel like your in a garden smelling flowers. I was sweating in the high humid heat here recently and spritzed this on my neck, face and forehead, not only did it cool down my system but for a moment took me away from the task at hand with the wonderful aromatic scent. Try this hydrosol!! It's also is a great hydrosol to put in a clay mask, it makes the clay very silky and smooth. (I use white clay). I always feel the colors of the particular plant when I spritz on hydrosols, is it just my imagination or? If plants have the natural ability to communicate to us, why not carry over the imprint of it's colors.

Best Cornflower Hydrosol EVER!
I've bought cornflower hydrosol from a couple other companies in the past, and while refreshing, they had virtually no fragrance. LGB's cornflower hydrosol on the other hand is just to die for! Beautiful fragrance and this is so refreshing and soothing after being in the hot Texas sun! Your cornflower and cucumber hydrosols are THE best ones I've ever used! :)

light and lovely
This cornflower hydrosol smells like summer to me. I've been using it mixed with rose water as a toner and it's fabulous. Mildly astringent, it helps tighten up my pores while cleansing the surface of my skin. I am buying a larger size next time!
