In skin care, Organic Chamomile German is a strong anti-inflammatory. Suzanne Catty recommends it for burns, sunburns, rashes, and itching. This hydrosol is sourced from France because of its superior quality compared to other distillations in N. America.  Between the two Chamomile hydrosols we offer, German is the hydrosol of choice to help with varicose, thread and spider veins. Suzanne also mentions that it may be helpful with eczema and psoriasis.  Consider blending with our Lavender Wild hydrosol for a cooling mist to soothe burns, sunburn and blisters.

Emotionally, Chamomile German hydrosol is quite calming to the nerves and excellent for relieving depression, stress, anxiety and insomnia.   After a stressful day mist Chamomile German on sheets and pillows at bedtime to help induce a peaceful state of relaxation.

There is an aromatic difference between Chamomile Roman and Chamomile German.  Both types are quite pleasing.  We suggest trying both to find your favorite.
