Cedrus deodara, known as Indian or Himalayan Cedarwood, sparkles with vibrational energy, radiance and a touch of sweetness leveling out to reveal an embracing velvety smooth fruity woodsy aroma. This essential oil is from wildcrafted wood and processed by one of our favorite highly skilled artisan Indian essential oil sources.
There are aromatic, astringent and antibacterial similarities to Cedarwood Atlas with the principal difference being a subtle display of earthiness in Himalayan Cedarwood coupled with a deeper fruitier note. Overall, this pure essential oil displays a softer and less camphoraceous aroma compared to Cedarwood Atlantic (Atlas). Because this Himalayan oil is smoother it tends to meld better in meditation and spiritual blends as well as natural perfume when a silky note of Cedarwood is desired. If diffusing in an oil diffuser for respiratory conditions, aroma-therapeutically our Cedarwood Atlantic is a preferred choice and the vibrational energy in Cedarwood Himalayan for meditation and spiritual purposes.
