Aromatherapy use of Bergamot essential oil is excellent for breathing difficulties, antiseptic for wounds, abscesses, mouth infections and herpes. Bergamot is used to stable the emotions, is uplifting and balancing, helping to alleviate anxiety, depression, fear or listlessness and encourages a restful nights sleep. In creams or massage blends it is good for oily skin and well used to reduce acne and eczema.
This Bergamot organic essential oil contains bergaptene and is photosensitizing. For use in skin care products we recommend bergaptene free Bergamot.
Use Bergamot essential oil in a warmer to disperse unwanted odors or make a wonderful room spray in times of illness or depression, cleansing, deodorizing, and for keeping insects away. It's beautiful aroma is a highly recommended organic ingredient for making true aromatherapy candles.
