The bergaptene content in this Bergamot organic essential oil which causes photosensitivity has been removed allowing its use in body care formulations without concern for phototoxicity.

Bergamot essential oil has an uplifting aroma. In aromatherapy bergamot essential oil is excellent for breathing difficulties, antiseptic for wounds, abscesses, mouth infections and herpes. Bergamot is used to stable the emotions, is uplifting and balancing, helping to alleviate anxiety, depression, fear or listlessness and encourages a restful nights sleep. In creams or massage blends bergamot is good for oily skin and well used to reduce acne and eczema.

Use bergamot essential oil in a warmer to disperse unwanted odors or make a wonderful room spray in times of illness or depression, cleansing, deodorizing, and for keeping insects away.

Contraindications: Causes sensitization in some individuals. Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding. Not for use by those with epilepsy or estrogen-related cancers.

My favorite bergamot ever
I've had other bergamots and liked them, but I love this. The quality is excellent.
