The distiller tells us this is an exceptional hydrosol for the lymphatic system, as well as being highly recommended for this purpose by Suzanne Catty. There are many wonderful properties in Bay Laurel hydrosol that benefit the skin and hair as well. Acne prone skin and conditions of large pores will benefit using Bay Laurel hydrosol as a refreshing astringent skin toner, along with men as an after-shave calming facial toner.
Suzanne Catty writes that Bay Laurel Leaf hydrosol is the first choice for cleansing and toning the lymphatic system. It is also very valuable for lymphatic drainage and circulation. She also writes that Bay Laurel is an immune booster and good for systemic infections or a prohphylactic for fast spreading viral infections like influenza. She recommends a combination of bay laurel and green myrtle (hydrosols or essential oils) to prevent infections.
