Ambrette comes from the whole seeds of the tropical hibiscus flower, and mainly serves as an animal musk substitute. Our ambrette is CO2 extracted through a ‘select’ method which reveals an alluring and more well-rounded representation compared to ambrette essential oil. This divine natural CO2 extract makes relying on animal derived musk or synthetic musk unnecessary.

Our Ambrette CO2 extract is sweet, rich, warm, and delicately floral.  Ambrette has a way of aromatically expressing both sensual and aphrodisiac qualities with its leathery, animalic-like earthy undertones. Ambrette is often used in natural, non-synthetic perfumes or vegan fragrance products where using non-animal ingredients are valued by its creator or company. Thus, ambrette is highly coveted in the fragrance industry, but a premium quality ambrette can be difficult to find. Fortunately, we have sourced a beautiful specimen of ambrette that exceeded our expectations by both its multifaceted aromatics and tenacity.

Pro tip: Blend small amount of ambrette into base accords for its musk effect.  Add little by little until desired aroma is reached.

Aromatherapy use: muscle cramps, fatigue, muscular aches and pains, poor circulation, anxiety, depression, nervous tension and stress-related conditions, detox

General use: natural incense, natural perfumery,  any aromatic blend for adding an animal-like musk note. Blend small amounts into base accords for the musk effect.

Contraindications: Non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-sensitizing.
