Our Cumin essential oil from organic seeds grown and steam distilled in Egypt has a very strong aroma.   Also known as Cumino or Roman Caraway, traditional Indian food is heavily seasoned with the unmistakable aroma and flavor of Cumin powder. One whiff of this essential oil will have you craving Tikka Masala, Vindaloo, Vegetable Samosa, or perhaps Masala Dosa!

The strong scent of Cumin essential oil is used in natural perfumery but in scant amounts to add radiance in Gourmand, Fougère, Oriental and Spice accords.  It can also give body to precious wood accords and works amazingly well with Mimosa and Violet Leaf absolutes to form a strong yet smooth base note in florals.  Cumin oil often times is that missing link perfumers are searching for in a blend.  If you haven't tried it paired with, for example, are missing out!  Try it, then come back and tell us how beautifully they worked together.

Some of the health benefits of Cumin essential oil are stimulating circulation, promoting elimination of toxins, and revitalizing in situations of fatigue and nervous exhaustion.  Cumin is also a tonic for bloating, indigestion, and flatulence.
